If Memory Serves

This project was formed after the passing of my grandmother in 2019. I wanted to convey how memory can both preserve and hide the truth. How items offer a glimpse into the past as well as a reminder of time passing in the present. I also wanted to explore how the people who remain are living memory banks, aged much like the place they inhabit, and are a reminder of how a place can hold memories for both the living and the dead.
